Similarly to Need for Speed: Wanted, progress is illustrated by means of scenes with real actors. The player’s task will, of course, win the competition and also reflect the next sectors of the city. After reaching the destination, it turns out that full control over the organization of illegal street races has taken over hostile gangs. The main character returns to the hometown of Palmont. Interestingly, we play the same character that we are controlling in Need for Speed: Most Wanted. The key point of the program is of course an extensive career mode. The game was created for all significant hardware platforms. Need for Speed: Carbon has, of course, many new elements to offer, such as racing races in canyons or the ability to run your own team. Of the two games from the Need for Speed: Underground series, extensive tuning options for individual machines were taken. References to Need for Speed: Most Wanted are visible primarily due to the active participation of law enforcement officers, which should be avoided at all costs.
The product described in many respects reminds its predecessors. Need for Speed: Carbon is another part of one of the most famous arcade racers.
